News The Flanders Foundation recently won another legal battle against the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea when the court ruled that the city has not complied with all rules and regulations for preparing to sell the mansion. The city has announced it will appeal this decision to the California State Court of Appeals. To date the city has wasted nearly a million $$$ trying to avoid following state law on the sale of parkland.
